Is it possible to put my hockey skates at home, without great with the machine? There is a small tool that's easy to use and affordable blade sharpening my skates?

If I saw something in the Sports Authority, save an advantage to classes that some players use them very clearly. But it is better to succeed professionally done after about every 5 to 10 games / practices per weight, budget and level of play. Remember to wash the leaves before putting them back in your pocket!
Yes, they are known as "speed stick or stone. They can be purchased in stores in hockey. Not a good job, u need each time you use the skate, but it works. I use it sometimes when my edges are to deaf with a game
